The Club is proud to support the Classic Wallabies in their community rugby initiatives. The Classics match against the Darling Downs Barbarians is part of a country tour by the Classic Wallabies, aiming to promote rugby around Australia.

The day began for the Classics with a kids clinic with over 200 young players, followed by a day of community rugby tournaments and an U17 women's round robin tournament. The main game was a brilliant display of running rugby enjoyed by vocal crowed who certainly appreciated the show which included some familiar names including Nathan Sharpe (captain), Mark Chisholm, David Croft, Justin Harrison, Stephen Hoiles and Morgan Turinui, while Luke Burgess, Lote Tuqiri and Sam Cordingley are among the big names in the backs.
