It was an early start to the season for the Waratahs, who officially launched their 2020 season on Wednesday 29th January at The Grounds of Alexandria.

Foundation members were among 300 guests - including players, sponsors, coaching staff, media, club presidents and Waratah Alumni – who enjoyed a sit-down dinner and the opportunity to see the jersey presentations for the men’s and women’s teams.

Master of Ceremonies Jim Callinan led a fascinating panel with NSWRU President, Al Baxter and The Hon. Natalie Ward. Guests later heard from Waratah Ned Hanigan and his dad, Pete, plus Craig Marsh from Rural Aid.

The Rugby Club Foundation was delighted to work with NSW Rugby in providing this unique season launch experience for our Members as we support the game of Rugby in New South Wales and beyond.
