The Rugby Club Foundation were proud to be Sharing the Spirit of the Game with the Rugby community of Central North NSW as they hosted a Rugby showcase featuring the Classic Wallabies and Classic Wallaroos.

The day began with skills clinics for hundreds of juniors, before a solid day of Rugby kicked off with Darling Downs Barbarians v Central West Barbarians. The Southport School then took the field against Toowoomba Grammar School. Thousands of spectators cheered on the Classic Wallaroos as they battled Central North Women. The main game was tight with the Classic Wallabies victorious after a legendary effort by the Central North Barbarians.

The sold out Rugby Club marquee provided the perfect vantage point for the games as well as to catch up with friends old and new.

It was a Rugby packed weekend for the Foundation who also hosted a pre match function at Rugby Australia House prior to the Waratahs v Crusaders match for the Members who could not make it to Moree.
